the school-side steps needed for enrollment.
GI Bill® Education Benefits
Chapters 30 & 33
Common programs include the Post-9/11
GI Bill® and Montgomery GI Bill®.
Qualifying spouses or children may also
use transferred or dependent benefits.
- Apply for benefits through VA.gov
- Obtain your Certificate of Eligibility
- Send your COE to HEO Academy Admissions
Depending on the benefit used, approved
tuition may be paid to HEO Academy or the
student may receive a monthly education
payment.
Eligibility and benefit amounts are
determined by VA.
Veteran Readiness and Employment
VR&E — Chapter 31
VR&E may provide career training and
employment support to qualifying veterans
whose service-connected disability affects
employment.
- Approved career training may be included
- Employment counseling and planning
- Coordination through a VA counselor

by VA and the assigned counselor.

Admissions needs a copy of your Certificate

decision letter before completing the
school certification process.
- Apply for your VA benefit
- Receive your COE
- Send the COE to Admissions
- Complete your enrollment documents
